Sorry for the delayed response. I went to his show not knowing much about bridal shows. I have nothing else to compare it to as this was the first one I have gone to. From what I was able to see, he had a good turn out. He is also a very nice man.
Hi Deb! Please tell me where I can find info on the Bosco event as I live in the Bronx! I didn't know about it but I'd love to go and meet you! I spoke to Bosco once and I remember the booths were around $500 so I passed at the time. Anyway, let me know where and when and hopefully I'll CU there!
Debbie,
Oh, gosh, I'm 4-5 hours from NYC! UpState NY gives Jeff Foxworthy a lot of his material! No offense, fellow NY'ers. Truly, there is no where else in the world like it. The economy stinks every where but yes, people do cut way back on niceities when times are tough. How do I get out there? Working with people like you. This is a great site, and because I've listed myself here I've been juried by other sites asking me to joint them, too, which is how everybody gets on with them. Being unique really helps. I have something to offer that really doesn't exist otherwise. The "silk flowers" at Walmart are pretty much what people think of if I were to mention that that is what I do. Truly I offer couture--silk flowers, elegance, unique custom designs that they pretty much design start to finish. I ask a lot of questions to get the process started and keep the customer informed all the way through. Other sites that I know you would be interested in Zabitatz and Indiepublic. But, yes, I could mention your services for what you do and we could, together, be able to answer customers objections as to why they would go with you or I as a service. The brides need to be sold on how committed and knowledgeable we are about what we do. This is a great place to network, but it is work, too. Keeping in touch with these different vendors is really the key. Being memorable, too. Not to keep you so long, but I'd rather be thorough, always. I'm actually a quiet reserved person but here you sort of have to break out and meet people how ever you can. Talk to you later. Michele :]
Hi, Michele Eddins of Floral Compliments. Thanks for the compliment. I changed the name of my company to Floral Compliments because it really defined me better. I love the work you do, too. You know, I wonder if there is something we could do TOGETHER? I can recreate bouquets that didn't quite make it or make the original bouquet. Hmmm, I'll bet between the two of us we could really come up with some fantastic creations. Let me know. This site is extremely helpful. I wish you all the luck. Please keep me in mind. Thanks a lot. Michele Eddins Floral Compliments :]
