Hello Wedding Professionals,
I need your help! I'm preparing a blog post that will be published this month, which will be called: 2015 Wedding Predictions. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what those predictions and trends will be. I'll pick the 10 best predictions, and I'll feature 10 wedding businesses!
If I choose your prediction, I'll be sure to mention your business name and link to your website. So, this is a great way for you to get a ton of free exposure for your business.
Here's what I need you to do...
Here's an example...
2015 Weddings Will Experience Dramatic Opulence. Lush, romantic linens and floral arrangements set the tone for an opulent affair. When designing, you want to add that
"drama" piece - whether it be in your intricate table linens, a gleaming candelabra, bride and groom chairs, or hey, even a wall of flowers! Also, keep the look consistent. Keep centerpieces of the same height, one style of chairs, and lush tablescapes. There is a wonderful tone of softness in these looks. In the picture to the left we see a dramatic, visually stimulating table. But look closer - doesn't the decor convey romance and a certain sense of whimsical? The "Dramatic Opulence
wedding trend is all about creating an experience within the event.

And here's a look at last year's predictions.
Thanks in advance for your help. I can't wait to see what you think will happen to weddings in the New Year!

Vintage Inspired Engagement Rings -
“Many of our customers are looking for a unique piece that tells a story; one that they can then weave into their own story and pass on for generations. That’s why there has been a huge resurgence of interest in vintage-inspired engagement and wedding rings. There is something about that old-world feel of these designs that couples find extremely romantic and if there’s a certain past era you love, you can find a customized
piece that reincarnates it to your liking.” - Brilliant Earth
With the explosion of Pinterest, I am seeing a lot more DIY brides going into the new year than ever before. A big part of my job as a planner is to offer ideas and advice on décor, but brides are getting much more detail oriented on their own and are putting in a lot of hours making their own decorations.

Bridal Hair Crowns will be big for 2015. They offer a good mix between traditional and modern while still leaving the bride with a variety of hair styling options. This trend was seen on bridal runways but was very prominent with the designers Ivy and Aster for their 2015 Fall/Autumn bridal runway shows.

Chic and timeless vintage pastel pearls in all manner of styles, including multistrand, statement, choker and backdrop.
I am seeing more brides wanting Juliet cap veils. Some want plain and some want bling and they are even DIYing them. They are easy to make and you can do so much with them.

I am predicting in 2015 Candy Stations, Desserts Bars, and Sweets Party Favors are going to be bigger and more eleborate than ever! - Rachelle Cain-Wiggins www.caineventplanning.com
I agree! Great pic :)
I predict that the bridal industry will have many more gay/lesbian weddings. With the shrinkage of mainstream wedding numbers, this can be an area that makes up for it. I am ready! Are you? PromisesYouKeep.com
I predict the demise of the 'country crafty', burlap and lace rustic weddings. I see the industry going back to elegance and formality. I think that weddings will become the dignified and elegant events of the past. After all, a wedding is one of the most important days of your life and should be treated with the reverence deserving of such an event.
ALL ABOUT THAT BASS
Back details are IN, from lace and textured designs on the upper-back, to very low booty-skimming back lines, to hip-hugging figure conscious silhouettes and train detailing. Rock that back, girl, it's what your wedding guests will be staring at during your ceremony (and don't forget that that includes your grandmother, so keep it classy)! -Janay A, Designer at Janay A Eco Bridal, www.janay-a.com
