How many photographers still do wedding albums? I recently visited a venue to become a vendor. She asked what my price was for an album. I told her that my price included a cd/dvd of edited images. I said I had not done an album in ten years. What are other's experience? I am just getting back into weddings after a few years hiatus and really dont want to get caught up in the wedding album. I like my price including a cd/dvd adn not that extra work of an album. Its enough I have to edit the digital images. I miss film!

You can certainly offer whatever you want in terms of photography.  I know photographers who offer only CD's or who offer a CD and slide show.  I have offered albums for 10 years and find they often sell the photography.   To the bride, the album is the tangible result of the photos.  All her friends give her digital images.  You may need to offer more in order to be competitive.  Many sites, such as pictage.com, offer album design services so you can have a professionally finished product.
