I am interested in  opportunities to volunteer event coordinating/decorating services in exchange for obtaining more awareness about our company and eventually becoming a preferred vendor at conventions, grand openings and other events throughout the St. Louis area. Is there a publication or way to find out about events while they are in the planning stages before they are scheduled for the public to register?

Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

Hey Casaundra,

I work for a site called Gig Salad.  It's an online event services directory.  Planners and brides-to-be come to our site to find all kinds of event services including event coordinators and event decor services.  We have a free listing where you could sign up that way brides and companies can find you and book you for their events.  It's just another way to get your name out there online :-)
