Hi,

I need some advice here as to how to reply and secure a booking. I have been answering different requests for possible weddings by giving information and quotes.

After all the work I do by gathering information etc. the bride decides to hire another weddingplanner. This has been going on for some time now and I haven't been able to book a wedding for this year yet. I was wondering what the problem was. My webiste is ok and everything is in order so I don't know what is happening here. I am gettin frustrated.

Please give me some suggestions on what I can do solve this problem.

you might want to start considering offering the information via a consult and letting the bride know she has to pay
yes that would be an option. but my requests come mostly from brides who want a destination wedding.
Hi Iris, Are you getting a face to face meeting with your client? I find many phone/email inquiries are looking for price & availability only--but if I can get a face to face meeting, I will close the deal and get the job.
No it is mostly by mail that I get inquiries because like I said before I live in the caribbean and the market I am focusing on or from where I get most reactions is mostly for destination weddings because the local market is not very much interested in hiring weddingplanners
