Thanks for starting this topic. I have had two sons get married. And you are right; there were plenty of Father and Daughter songs. However, choosing an appropriate Mother and Son song was difficult.
My choice was Through the Years by Kenny Rogers and Memories by Elvis Presley.
Thanks for letting me know your choice! I love both of those songs. I am hoping my son will actually do the selection , but thought this would be a helpful discussion for everyone, especially for me!

This past weekend,I was so happy to have a Mother/Son dance to "My Wish for You" by Rascal Flatts. Yes, I did have a few tears(of joy!) Thank you,thank you,thank you,for reminding me of how wonderful this song is . He , his new bride and I all thought it was perfect !
I helped pick the Mother/Son song for my husband and his mom...it just so happens, it's one of my favs too...I just love the words/meaning...always brings a "happy" tear to my eye. :)
