Hi

I am getting married in next month. my dress is strapless with a heart shaped neckline ,
beading on the upper half of the dress with the skirt area being more simple with some
beading around the hemline. I have been to see some jewelery. the first one i saw was
more of a choker-style, being tighter around the neck, whilst the second was slightly
longer with an ivory rose in the middle and a dangly bit that comes down slightly from
the rose. I am confused as to which goes better with the dress. Please if anyone has
some advice it would be appreciated. thanks !!!!!!!!

Caithy,

Is that your picture? You're gorgeous! :) You look remarkably like the girl from the "Vampire" movies (whose name I can't remember at the moment.)

Anyway, it depends on the effect you're going for. If you want to make your neck look longer, go with the drop necklace. If you want to emphasize the neckline of the gown more, go with the choker.

I'm sure your bridal salon has chokers and drop necklaces. While they won't be exactly like what you are considering getting for your wedding, why not try something similar in style with your gown so that you can get a better idea. Or if they don't carry things like necklaces, buy something inexpensive but that's in a similar style so you can get an idea.

Another option would be to buy a white blouse with a sweetheart neckline and wear it when you go shopping so you can judge the effect.

Hope that helps. Much happiness! :)
