Hello Vendors,

We have just launched our business, Down-to-Earth Paperworks: Invitations and Stationery, and are just getting our feet wet in marketing ourselves. We have Facebook and Twitter pages and are spreading the word locally and with friends.  But we would love to hear anyones experience of where they advertise on the various wedding websites (besides BridalTweet ofcouse!) and what success they have had.  We are listing ourselves on the *free* sites, but wonder if it is worth investing in advertising with some of the big name sites.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Personally I have had no success investing on paid websites. The free sites I use is wedspace.com and weddingwire.com
For me it's been offbeatbride, weddingchicks, onewed, eventsource, and maybe a couple of others I can't think of. I get a lot of hits from onewed; but I find the brides who contact me don't realize what city I'm in even after reading my listing and looking at my web site. I get a lot of inquiries about planning or coordinating weddings in small town USA. I'm in Canada. I hear for vendors actually living in the States it can be a useful site.
