A Skincare Treatment Plan: Glowing For Your Big Day

Every bride wants her skin to be glowing for her big day, and with a skincare treatment plan in place, you are relying heavily on there being no breakouts and just a lucky good skin day. Especially with all of the stress leading up to the big day, you might need all of the help you can get.

I have been seeing all over social media brides investing in professional skincare treatment a couple of months leading up to their wedding so that on the big day they have a flawless canvas for the makeup and so they are absolutely glowing in all of their pictures.

Here is a treatment plan I would recommend to anyone!

Book a Consultation

First, you need to speak to the professionals about your chosen aesthetics in Cheshire (I went to The Clinic Cheshire). I spoke to one of the nurses and told her what I wanted to see in my results, my skin type, what their professional opinion was and what treatments would be best suited to me. These are just a couple of things we discussed but it made me feel so much more confident with my lead-up to the wedding, which is exactly what I needed.

It also made me feel like my goals were attainable and not just throwing my money at something that wasn’t going to see the results I wanted.

Establish a Timeline That Works

Realistically, you don’t want to be cramming in all your facials and treatments close together and right before the wedding because you aren’t going to see the full results within such a short period of time. I would recommend starting your wedding preparations anywhere between 12 and 6 months just so you can see the full effects.

I think this will be dependent on your overall goals; this will be better to discuss with your practitioner during the consultation, as they will be able to give you a better idea of timelines and how long it could take, how many sessions you may need and so forth.

Stick To The Plan

It’s imperative that you take all the advice your practitioner gives you, so if they recommend that you wear SPF every day, stop going on the tanning bed, improve your diet and so forth, this is something you must stick to. Otherwise, while you are investing in your skin, you are counteracting it with all the things that damaged it in the first place, which will be a waste of both time and money.

Professional opinions for the big day should not be taken lightly and will make a world of difference.

Medical Grade Skincare

So on top of your skin treatments, you need to invest in great skincare that helps maintain your skin's brightness in between professional treatments. Brands like Obagi are proven to include skin-enriching ingredients and help take your skin to that next level. I would also recommend you speak to your practitioner about your everyday skincare routine and they will likely be able to prescribe you with skincare that’s perfect for your skincare type and goals.
