Wedding Fitness Routines: Get in Shape for Your Big Day

While it’s important to note that your dress should fit you and not you fit the dress, alterations on a beautiful wedding dress are an extremely expensive and timely process, so it comes as no harm maintaining your figure from the moment you get the dress fitted to the actual day. Not only that but you want to feel gorgeous on your big day so that means you fit seamlessly into your fairytale dress.

Incorporating a fitness routine can help you achieve and maintain your desired wedding physique and boost your confidence just in time. Here are some effective wedding fitness routines to consider.

Here are some effective wedding fitness routines that you can add to your day seamlessly.

Cardio for Endurance and Stamina

Running

A classic and old-school reliable for toning up your legs and helping you maintain and lose weight. While it’s not for everyone, I promise you the more you do it, the better and after you get past the hard bit, it can completely transform your perception of running. It burns loads of calories and improves your cardiovascular health, which are two big bonuses.

Swimming

Something that uses all of your muscle groups while being low-impact is a good old-fashioned swim. It’s also a very relaxing activity that you do for an hour and feel like a whole new and improved person.

Cycling

If you are not comfortable doing this outside, you can go to any old gym and set up shop on a machine. It’s another low-impact cardio alternative that will help you get your sweat on, if you want to keep it engaging, try attending spin classes now and then.

Dance

A fun alternative way to burn some calories, get your heart rate up and learn a thing or two. Whether you pay for private classes or join a local class, it’s a really fun way to stay fit.

Strength Training

Pilates

This very trendy and popular form of exercise for women is, of course, Pilates. It’s a great way to do low-impact workouts with minimal workouts but don’t let it fool you; it is extremely challenging and will put you through your paces. If you want to step your Pilates game up, attend a hot Pilates class, and you won’t regret it. Be sure to wear shorts instead of gym leggings and thank me later.

Weightlifting

Toning specific areas of your body and just improving your overall fitness and strength will come from adding a bit of weight to it. Whether it be for booty gains, slimming your waist or toning up your arms, weightlifting is a great way to build a bit of muscle and lose some fat in stubborn areas.

Bodyweight Exercises

If you’re looking to just maintain what you are and not lose or gain any kind of muscle or weight, I would suggest consistent bodyweight exercises. This not only will help you feel good and keep your body moving but also will allow you to easily maintain what you are.

Final Thoughts

While a consistent workout plan is crucial, don’t forget that eating well is very important, especially when looking to lose weight.
