A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: I marry unchurched couples who want a ceremony that is personal, unique, and spiritual without being religious.

As both a wedding officiant and romance novelist, I treasure that "happily ever after" moment. When I talk with couples, I listen for those clues that will inspire me to create a ritual that will really mean something to them.

One bride loved butterflies. I created a ritual tying seven butterflies to seven blessings. Another bride was building an herb garden. I created a ritual using four wedding herbs and their magical properties. One of the most unusual wedding rituals I created was inspired by Buddhist prayer flags. I'm working on ritual based on the secret language of shells. All I need now is a beach wedding!

Your ceremony can be so much more than "Dearly Beloved..." Work with a creative officiant because memories of the wedding ceremony itself should last a lifetime.

My Couples Inspire My Rituals

When I meet with a Couple, I ask dozens of questions. What are their hobbies and interests? Do they like to cook? Garden? Do they connect with their cultural roots?
