A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
Consider the impact of the Great Highland Bagpipes played at your wedding by an experienced piper. The pipes are the perfect instrument for celebrations, adding joy and excitement to the occasion. Bagpipes played at your wedding will be something to be talked about for years to come.
Randy Arent started playing bagpipes 15 years ago after years of thinking about learning the instrument. Randy has been piping for weddings, funerals and special events as a solo performer and as a member of local Scottish and Irish pipe and drum bands. To hear a sampling of the tunes he plays, go to his web site, Denver Bagpiper.
In addition to solo performances and playing with local pipe bands, Randy is a member an elite group of pipers and drummers, Celtic Colorado Pipes & Drums, that performs along with The Denver Brass to sold out audiences several times a year.
The pipes are really meant to be played outdoors and Randy truly enjoys playing in our Colorado Mountains. Altitude and weather present some interesting challenges for all pipers in our state and Randy always asks his outdoor wedding clients about a “Plan B”.
Randy works closely with his clients to get everything just right. Music selection, the timing and spacing of the different tunes are critically important to everyone involved in a wedding.
Visit Randy’s web site, Denver Bagpiper, for some ideas for incorporating the bagpipes into your wedding. He’ll be happy answer any questions you have about including the bagpipes in your special day.
