If you are a Bride-To-Be, when is your wedding date?

A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?

Mike and I met online January of 2009.
Hit it off right away. Fell head over heels for one another.
We are not your picture perfect couple, which actually makes this so much more magical. There has been a lot of "ups and downs." I managed to finish the course I was taking but it was hard finding a job. Which created stress. Mike is a dad within a previous relationship so his has the responsibility to care for that child. Our stressors weighed heavily on our shoulders. It in turn almost came between us.

We have had so many things try to tear through us, break us up, and try to make us believe we can't be together. It was almost done.

it was the second week in October, Mike and I were home. We stayed up the whole night (Friday) listening to music, talking, playing games (computer,PS3) it was a pretty average Friday night. Mike seemed to be a little distracted. I didn't think anything of it. He turns to me and said,
"Leeann, I believe you are my soul mate." (That was the beginning of what was the best night of my life.)
He then goes to the bedroom and comes out with a ring from my jewelery box (his favorite ring of mine) kneels infront of me and says,
"we have been through some really rough patches. We have had people tell us we are not good together. We have every reason to not be together. But in my eyes, I have found someone that has saved me. I have found the love of my life, and the person I want to be with. You have given me all that I want in this life, and that's your love. We may not have a lot in this world but we work hard for what we DO have. It would be an honor to me if you would be my wife."

HOW COULD I SAY NO TO THAT!

Then as he was slipping the ring on my finger he says, "I know this is your ring, and you realize if I waited to save for a ring, that would be a lifetime....so I am symbolizing to you that I want you, and it will show you are taken to the world, and the day of our wedding we will have our own bands to exchange, along with our vows, to be man and wife. Whatcha say?"

I couldn't be any happier. However, we are still in a sticky boat when it comes to financing a wedding. We don't want to lean upon family, we can be very stubborn. But we have no choice, but to accept help. We are the perfect couple candidate for this contest. It would be the perfect ending to our story. That good things come to those who wait. Nothing greater than this could happen to such a deserving and fighting couple as we.
