A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
Estelle Matheson Cake Design is based out of Mozart Bakery and Cafe in Vancouver, BC's lower mainland. Estelle Matheson designs and creates custom-made, designer wedding cakes specializing in rolled fondant. Some highlights of the Estelle Matheson Cake Design service include:
1. Cake delivery and set up.
2. Pre-wedding consultation
3. Education: Estelle is a trained pastry chef. She attended the Pastry Arts program at Dubrulle French Culinary School, graduating at the top of her class in 1997. She has since taught at the Cook School, and she was the Pastry Chef at the Gallery Cafe (at the Vancouver Art Gallery) before opening her own bakery.
4. Experience: Estelle has been designing wedding cakes for over 12 years.
5. Variety: Estelle's specialties are Italian cream cakes and French mousses, but she also has a large selection of buttercream cakes, cheesecakes and European style tortes.
6. Creativity: Estelle is extremely creative and she likes to work with the bride to make sure that the cake reflects the couple, the venue and the event.
7. Attention to detail: Estelle only commits to making one custom wedding cake per day in order to ensure a top quality product.
8. Social responsibility: Estelle purchases fair trade products whenever she can and she uses recycled and biodegradable products as much as possible.
