A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?

I am a bride getting married in just 45 days...this is first time I ever planned a wedding. My fiance and I have embarked upon many DIY projects for our wedding and are having a blast doing it. It is my fiance's first wedding but not mine. I have children who are grown involved in the wedding. I have a mature but fun attitude towards our wedding and feel I have lots to offer in the DIY aspects of wedding planning.
We are shooting for elegant yet FUN for our theme and have ivory and black for our colours. I have had every imaginable issue with our bridal party so I have some pretty interesting stories, dilemmas and eventually (fingers crossed) solutions that I would love to discuss :) Also I have decided to do my own flowers, centerpieces and decor and would love some input on how and where to buy flower, what hold up well and some ideas as the BIG DAY is quickly coming. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!
