The winery at Childress Vineyards has a comfortable, inviting Old World feel with a rustic, aged look reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. Iron chandeliers, heavy architectural beams and textured walls impart an overall elegant, antiqued look.
Upon entering, a multi-tiered fountain in the lobby sets the tone for a relaxed environment. Cast stone surrounds the etched glass doorways leading into the Wine Tasting Room with Gift Shop and Banquet Room and Bistro. The Gift Shop and Wine Tasting Room have the feel of an outdoor European marketplace and the Bistro is like a quaint sidewalk cafe.
An intimate dining area is tucked into a Barrel Cave featuring a cascading waterfall and racks of oak barrels fermenting the Signature wines of Childress Vineyards.
