Set in the beautiful grounds of the Boturich Castle Estate, this romantic venue has spectacular views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond and is a wonderful location for wedding parties of all sizes. Although the venue is found less than 40 minutes from the centre of Glasgow and about 25 minutes from Glasgow Airport it is surrounded by tranquility and beauty. Couples are offered the chance to have a tailor-made celebration within the grounds of the only remaining private castle on the banks of Loch Lomond. Wedding co-ordinator Laura Peat says “Our venue is a blank canvas on which you can create your perfect day and I am happy to be there every step of the way to advise and guide the couple through the planning process.” She is happy to help with as much or as little of the planning as couples require and knows all the local suppliers. She continues to say “some couples are interested in just hiring the venue and are happy to make their own arrangements but most need some hand holding along the way, be it introductions to flower arrangers or caterers all the way through to making sure every last detail is covered to make their special day truly memorable.”
Weddings take place within a marquee overlooking Loch Lomond (max capacity 250). They also offer the bride a day room within the castle.
The venue is available at discounted rates for mid-week bookings and because the venue isn’t licensed it means that the wedding party can supply its own alcohol and won’t be charged a corkage fee resulting in considerable savings.
