Finding the right balance between just enough hold and too much is always a concern.  Using the correct products and placing them when and where they should go is key to keeping your lovely bridal hairstyle in place all day. Using too much of a product such as hairspray can really make your bridal hairstyle look hard and even feel sticky. Not enough defrizzing lotion or serum can spell disaster, especially on humid days. The right products and the correct way use them, will help keep you smiling and your hair tame and in place on your wedding day.

Gel or Cream setting lotion.

This really helps to control any frizz and fly-always. These products are best used for more natural hair hairstyles.

Expert Tip: Add a little serum to the cream setting lotion or gel, this adds a little more anti-frizz control.

Pomade.

To add shine and smoothness to up-do's, pony tails and helps to keep any pulled back areas neat.

Expert Tip: Work a small amount of product into your palm and rub your hands together, now run your fingers through the hair from the front, sides, and back part of the hair, which ever part is exposed. Your bridal hairstyle will be sure to hold up with this tip kept in mind.

Wax. Add shine and hold. This product is great for adding definition to shorter hairstyles or long.

Expert Tip: Add a small amount to finger tips, then take a small amount of hair and run your fingers from root to tips of curl.

Hairspray. Light hairspray or working spray is used while putting a look together. Each section of hair is lightly sprayed before being pinned into place. Strong hold spray is used to set to finish a look.

Expert Tip: Hold the can of spray about 12" from your head and spray for best results. Following this steps will surely help hold your bridal hairstyle in place from morning till night.
