Candles have a lovely history when it comes to cake. Some believe they started with the greeks who believed the smoke from the candles would carry their wishes to the gods. Others believe this tradition started in Germany, and that the candles represent the ''light of life." Today, candles are largely associated with birthdays. Candles are lit according to the age of the person being celebrated, the lights go down, a glow fills the room, and the candles are blown out with a wish. Here at spirit of '76 we are not satisfied with just regular candles.
We celebrate with our cake sparklers! Also known as ice fountains, these sparklers have a base to place them into a cake. They are also ash less, and of course wax less so you don't have that pesky residue on your cake. The sparklers burn for around 40 seconds and are not just for birthdays. These sparklers scream celebration and fun. Another idea for the adults is our bottle clips. These sparklers look great attached to the top of champagne bottles at your wedding, anniversary party, New Years Eve party, or anywhere else!
