When God Gives You Vision for Your Business Don't Be Blinded by Naysayers

I was looking for something extra to offer my clients in my Marriage Readiness Training Course. Based on my many years as a counselor I discovered many people go into marriage without a clue about the legalities of marriage. When crucial decisions need to be made they end up paying a fortune in attorney's fees to settle estates, make health care decisions (We all remember the Terri Schiavo Story), and deal with numerous other matters. So I decided to find an expert in the area of family law that would agree to offer advice and field questions that engaged couples may have that would put them at ease and give them an advantage many couples don't have going into marriage.
Many of my friends and colleagues thought it was the worst idea they had ever heard "You are going to scare off the bride" is what I kept hearing. This Saturday for the first time the attorney taught her portion of the class and the class LOVED legal matters being a part of the curriculum.
Today's brides are educated, intelligent and want to be informed. They are not stupid in love. They are in love and smart about their future. It pays to know your client base so that when God leads you in a new direction you will not be deterred by the naysayers of this world.
