What to look for in a Wedding Photographer

Questions:
How long have you been in business?
What do you have in the way of back up equipment....cameras, flashes, etc...
Do you have samples of complete weddings to look at....any photographer good or bad can have a few godod samples form different weddings, you want an overall view of a photographer's work.

Meet with the photographer, get a feel for his/her personality, are you comfortable with him/her?
Your photographer should be good at working with people, how they relate to the subjects they are photographing will effect the overall feel of the photographs....(example: if the photographer has a stiff personality, that stiffness will be translated into the group and individuals photos if they cannot get their subjects to relax and have fun.
There will be enough stress in the wedding cerimony, you will not want the photographer creating any more stress than you already have...

Brouse the internet for wedding samples of the kinds of photos you are looking for and present samples to your photographer.

Most importantly, relax, dont worry about something going wrong in the wedding cerimony, it will, I've done enough weddings to know that somthing almost always goes wrong, sometimes big sometimes small....go with the flow and hope the phtographer id perceptive enough has a good eye to catch it.....you will want it in photos later to laugh at.
