What questions should a bride and groom ask their wedding videographer?
How long have you been a videographer?
What sort of equipment will you use to film my wedding?
What equipment do you use to capture my vows and reception sound?
Will you edit my whole wedding or just give me raw footage?
Do you use broadcast standards for filming and editing?
Can I see a wedding DVD that you recently authored?
Do you have any memberships that offer you long term up-dated learning, like W.E.V.A.?
What advice do you have for the bride and groom?
Be sure first off that you feel comfortable with your videographer…they will usually be with you six to eight hours on your wedding day. The highest price for video services does not guaranty you the highest quality. Small companies like ours for instance have the “big boy” equipment without the ”big boy” price. Please don’t rely on a friend or family member to film and edit your wedding and expect it to be of keepsake quality. As professional videographers with years of training and experience we know “how” to film your wedding…we have the professional equipment to not only film your wedding but capture your “sound” and we are committed to the 60 or 80 hours it will take to “edit” all your wedding footage.
Anything else you want to say…
Remember, a quality edited wedding video is a keepsake that you will want to watch over and over again...something that you will be proud to pass down throughout the years.
