I love dresses, especially wedding dresses! The dresses for 2010 are to die for! A bride for every dress and a dress for every bride. There are dresses to stir and evoke the feelings of days gone by, and dresses that will take the old and spin it anew.

Designers are focusing on details and more details. Look for roses, dresses with folds, higher hemlines, ethereal dresses, and capped sleeves giving the one-shoulder trend a fresh new look. Take a peek of a few of those dresses!

French designer, Suzanne Ermann, evokes modern romance with this dress. A simple bodice and flared hem ending in a bouquet of swirls to complete this simply divine creation.

The roses compliment the bodice of this dress by Angel Sanchez to create the perfect silhouette with the focus on the shoulder.

Dresses with shorter hemlines, made with silk, create movement, and will elegantly drape your body. This dress is perfect for the vintage modern bride or for the bride who wants to change into a simpler chic dress for her reception. Tres chic!

Perhaps I am partial to Monique Lhuillier since I wore one of her dresses for my own wedding. This dress, perfectly named, Sunday Rose, is from the designers Platinum Collection. It is made with satin organza and has a rose filled embroidered a-line skirt. Roses everywhere!

A favorite of many brides, Pronovias. The 2010 Valentino Sposa Collection is one of my favorites. The classice details of this line is sure to find great popularity with the modern classic bride. I love the bow detail!

Jim Hjelm’s dresses always exude romance. The 2010 line does not fall short of that. It is filled with romantic touches, satin faced organza, and ruffles. This dress’ elongated bodice will make you appear longer and leaner and the chapel style train will have your guests in awe as you come and go! This is a special dress for a special bride…but aren’t all brides special? At least that’s what I know!
