Hopefully all you brides out there can use this for a kick start to your diet and fitness plan.
Well, it's been a few days since I started this weight loss blog. The scale hasen't moved from 122 pounds. I'm following the diet pretty close. The only part that I just can't do is drink 100 oz. of distilled water a day, I drink about 30 oz. of filtered water from my refrigerator. The diet below has been pretty easy to follow but is getting boring. I only have today plus Monday and Tuesday. Then I will follow Jillian Michael's "Balanced Ozdizer" plan for my body type. Both of these plans are coming from her "Making The Cut" book. I have read all the Biggest Losers books and have their videos. Making The Cut is probably the best book I've read. The 9 pounds that I have lost are all water weight. Since the scale haves't moved for a few days I take it that when it starts to move again, it will be fat that I am losing. I do notice a difference that my pants aren't as tight. I usually eat pretty good until I start to binge and then everything goes down hill for a few days. I'm pretty good on weekdays but usually gain 3-4 pounds over the weekend then I lose them during the week. So, it's pretty hard getting ahead. The plan below is Jillian's 7 day diet plan.
Drink 100oz of distilled water everyday with 1t of sugar free cranberry juice if desired.
Breakfast: 6 egg whites w/green veggies - cooked without butter or oil.
Lunch: Any of the following below, garlic and lemon can be used, unlimited green veggies
5oz salt-free or low sodiom turkey breast or ham w/lettuce and tomato
1 can low sodium tuna w/lettuce & balsamic vinegar & 1t olive oil
5oz poached slamon, cucumber, rice vinegar if desired
5oz grilled halibut, spinah salad
5oz salt free or low sodium ham or turkry with tomato and lettuce
6oz grilled mahi, lettuce or green veggies
Snacks: 20 raw or dry roasted unsalted almonds
Unlimited celery w/2 tbsp salt free peanut better
3 triangles slices of watermelon
10 raw unsalted cashews
3 large carrots
Dinner: Follow all meals with a cup of dandenlion tea (Pretty good - found in nutrition aisle)
6oz grilled chicken breast w/unlimited eggplant
6oz grilled swordfish lemon and or garlic w/unlimited steamed kale
1/2 lb steamed shrimp, salad w/low sodium dressing, unlimited green beans
You can switch around meals & have whatever whenever. As you can see the whole plan is to reduce water in your body. Good luck whoever is trying this. In two days I'm through with this so hopefully I can lose 1 pound per week. I only have a few pounds to go & then maintenance.
