I have been battling my weight for over 30 years. It started in my 20's after having two kids. I know it could have been worse and I know that people battle their ups and downs of huge amounts of weight to loss but battling my 30 pound weight gain has been a battle for me. I will weigh between 115-145 on a 5'2" body.
I tried every diet when I see my weight go higher and higher. It seems like once it goes over that 125 pounds I get upset at myseft and then eat more. The story of people who battle their weight. My lowest was at 115 pounds and I decided to throw away all my bigger size clothes, I have never done that before. My son was married in 2006 and I wrote the mother son wedding dance song, I'll Always Be Your Mother, for him and I to dance to. I wanted to be at my lowest weight for the wedding and finally keep it there once and for all. From 2006 and on I have been able to keep my weight between 120 and 130. I have never gone up to that 145 pounds.
My weight a few weeks ago was at 131 and I knew that I needed a kick start. I started to take the Jillian Michael's cleanse and clean for three weeks. I lost a few pounds. Now I'm in the middle of doing her 7 day diet from her Making The Cut book. It's pretty easy to follow and today my weight is 122. It's been about 31/2 weeks and I still have 3 days to go on the 7 day diet. I will then follow her "balanced oxidizers" plan due to my body type. I haven't been below 128 pounds for about 2 years now. The weight really does creep up little by little and if you don't take control it, it will turn into a 100 pound weight gain. I watch all the weight loss shows and couldn't imagine having to lose 100+ pounds. I give those people so much credt for sticking to a plan and keeping the weight off.
I now have two granddaughters that I watch 2-3 days a week and I need to have energy and I need to be able to play with them on the floor, riding bikes and just having fun. When my weight starts to go up I do feel worse with my joints, stamnia and overall health, there really is a difference.

Next blog will be her 7 day diet plan and my continued results. I was never one to keep a journal like all the trainers recommend so I'm hoping my blogs will be my journals.
Hopefully all you brides out there can use this for a kick start to your diet and fitness plan.
