I just noticed that the last two of my blogs are gone. I'll give you a short update and then continue for this week. I started on the Pritikin way of eating and taking the alli pill. I'm down 8 lbs in about three weeks. Here is this weeks blog.
Well, I’m doing pretty good and I feel so much better. I’m down another 2 lbs. I’m still following the Pritikin way of eating and taking one alli pill at breakfast and one with dinner. I still have had no side effects from the pill. I’m eating a lot more veggies, brown rice and potatoes. I’ve been mixing the veggies with the potatoes or rice. I also eat them like a salad but with no lettuce. I cut up zucchini, grape tomatoes, three kinds of peppers, three kinds of sweet peppers, onions and cucumber. I put a little salad dressing on them and eat them cold like a salad & they are so good. I’m not really a salad person but I like this. I will also fry them, omitting the cucumber, and add them to the potatoes and rice. It’s very filling. I’ve bought two more Pritikin books plus two Chicken Soup books based on health, diet and nutrition. Reading books on a healthy way of living keep me motivated. If anyone reading this wants to discuss the pills or info in the books please email me. I read so many blogs and posts about not only brides trying to lose the weight for their wedding day but also grooms.
