Wedding scrapbook DIY

A wedding scrapbook goes along with a photo booth, where the gusts use a duplicate copy of their photo strips to create a memory book for the Bride and Groom. Most photo booth companies charge extra for this add-on, so I would like to share some insider knowledge to help you create your own an save money on your wedding photo booth. Everybody wants to save money right?

Step 1. Find a quality scrapbook that matches your event theme. Look for one that has several pages and you can even upgrade the paper to a custom style. Lot's of variations of scrapbooks are available at your local arts and crafts store, as well as online. Several of these stores offer free scrap-booking classes, and they will also offer free advice to help you match your theme.

​ Step 2. Buy several types of thin markers or upgrade to special glitter markers to add an effect. You will also need some double sided tape and a few glue sticks. The big size sticks will last longer and are usually very affordable too. 

Step 3. Get creative! Buy some photo booth or wedding stickers to add some Bling to your scrapbook. This will inspire your guests to get creative with their guest messages. Another option is to get magnets with sticky backing to make the strips magnetic. Again your local arts and craft stores will have this.

Step 4. Plan, Plan, Plan. Talk with your wedding coordinator and photo booth vendor regarding the location of the scrapbook, and make sure there is a separate table provided where guests will have room to sign and create. The photo booth is usually a busy area, so placing the scrapbook table in a designated area away from the crowd of people helps eliminate congestion.
