Invite your guests in style!

  • Make a lasting impression to your guests and set the tone of your wedding with your invitations. Choose something that expresses your self. There are invitations in many types for anyone out there. So many choices! Of course, your want your invitation to much your wedding theme but it doesn’t have to be expensive necessarily, especially these days.

 

  • If you are on a tight budget but you want your invitations to have a special touch, order flat invitations without pockets and add a colored ribbon. You can find affordable invitations  and ribbons online. You can also save money if you choose postcards as response cards or to not at all include response cards but have your guests using the phone to inform you whether they will attend the wedding or not.

 

  • To know exactly how much money mailing each envelope will cost you, take your assembled invitation packet with invitation, and extras in their envelope to the post office and have them weight it. Also, keep in mind that squares invitations need additional postage cost.

 

  • Order in time, so you can post them at least one and half month to people who leave abroad, one moth to people in your country and three weeks to relatives and friends before your wedding.

 

  • Order at least 10% more than your guest list as you will remember more people at the last moment you would like to invite. Also, make sure to have some spare envelopes to use in case of mistakes (As much as careful you are it is very possible to make mistakes!).

 

  • Your invitation is the first item to put in the envelope facing up and then the smaller pieces such as reception card, directions, place cards etc. and on top of everything the response card.

 

  • Write the addresses in handwriting. This is necessary to add a personal touch to it. If you have someone calligrapher in your cycles ask them to help you. Your invitations are the first thing of your wedding your guests will see.

 

  • Be careful when addressing individuals, couples, families, or divorced people on your envelopes. Make a search and you will find information on this issue on the net.
