A unique wedding invitation card from Pune in the backdrop of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 has emerged on social media, triggering a chatter among users. The invitation card encouraged citizens to exercise their voting rights.

“As per the rights given by the Constitution, and to take one step forward in making our country prosper, we must send our voice to the Parliament and for this, each vote is important,” reads the invitation card in Marathi. According to the invitation, ‘democracy’ and ‘voters’ are getting married to each other. The wedding venue on the card was listed as ‘your polling station.’
