Wedding Decor: Elyse and Eric

Elyse and Eric ~ 06.09.12
cute wedding photoOn a very busy weekend in June 2012, Unmistakably You was privileged to be able to decorate for Elyse and Eric's damask and turquoise wedding at Pine Knot golf course in Dorchester.
Elyse and Eric are a totally sweet couple who wanted to have a fun day to celebrate with their family and friends.  It was important to them to have beautiful decor, but keep the budget in check.
Linens
Elyse wanted a touch of damask, which we included in the table runners, then accented them with a wider turquoise runner that perfectly matched the swatch of fabric from the bridesmaid's dresses.  We also draped the head, cake and gift tables in black with a hint of turquoise underlay.

Backdrop

Elyse and Eric wanted a head table backdrop that was a little different, so we draped a white sheer backdrop with black accents that mimicked the table draping.  The uplighting created a warm glow.

Patio
Wedding paper lanterns
Pine Knot has a great patio, which Elyse and Eric used for cocktails.  To incorporate their colour scheme, we hung paper lanterns around the perimeter in white, black and turquoise.

Centerpieces
To help Elyse and Eric stay on budget, Unmistakably You created simple yet stunning centerpieces that incorporated flowers from Elyse's bouquet - spider mums and roses.
The black river rock and white flowers tied in the colour scheme of the wedding perfectly, and the mirrors reflected the candlelight for a romantic glow.

Elyse and Eric were thrilled with the decor, and had a beautiful and happy wedding day.  Unmistakably You wishes them all the best as they start their married lives together!
