Don't know how to choose wedding colors? Choosing your wedding colors / wedding color combinations is all about your personal preferences. There are four main types of color schemes: monochromatic, analogous, complementary and triadic.
Don't worry it's not as complicated as it seems to choose wedding themes by color.
Here’s a quick explanation of the four color schemes:
Different schemes work best for different types of occasions or arrangements. Most people go with monochromatic, analogous or complementary schemes for their wedding color combinations. As previously mentioned, monochromatic is clean, elegant and balanced, analogous is richer with more variety and complementary contrasts cool and warm colors.
If you're willing to go more bold with your wedding colors, go for triadic colors and arrangements which are vibrant, rich and harmonious.
*Remember to take into consideration the colors of your venue before deciding which scheme and then which colors work best.
