Beth and I took our daughters on a fun field trip to Vintage Martini after reading some glowing reviews about this vintage clothing store. If you live in the Dallas area, you
must visit this shop! Customers may also call or email the shop to
purchase an item. The store is overflowing with vintage clothing and
accessories that are separated by decade. Everything is well-organized,
in excellent condition, and reasonably priced.
Ken, the owner of Vintage Martini was very helpful with accessorizing and dress selection. His mother's
online store Woodland Farms Vintage carries vintage bridal dresses
and veils.
A great way to create a unique look for your wedding, is to wear a vintage wedding gown, jewelry, veil, or hair accessory.
Ken told us that D magazine had been in earlier to photograph these designer boots for
an upcoming article on Texas weddings.
Seeing the fashions from the ‘60s and ‘70s, Beth and I we were reminded of popular fashions that we wore growing up. Don't laugh. The only way my
mom allowed me to wear a halter dress to a dance was if I wore the
matching wrap around my shoulders!
Our daughters had fun playing dress-up.
Merichelle gravitated toward the dresses from the '60s
Elizabeth had fun trying on Evening dresses.
Besides wonderful dresses, we saw beautiful hats, shoes, purses, jewelry, gloves, belts, aprons, and scarves.
I found some vintage sewing patterns to frame for my office.
It was a fun day enjoyed by all. It was right up my alley since I love the look of all things vintage...and reusing items is eco-friendly!
