Vidya Balan wardrobe for the past few weeks has given her a chance to not just wear unique handloom pieces, but also spotlight the work and textiles that go into making them. Among them, Balan has also picked Kanjeevaram silk saree. Apart from the rich weave, the striking colour combination in one of her picks truly stood out.

Vidya Balan’s mustard yellow Kanjeevaram silk saree featured a micro checkered pattern all over, along with a contrasting rani pink border. Moreover, the traditional motifs and intricate pallu were detailed with pure zari work. She added chunky gold earrings and a cuff bracelet by House of Masaba to her ensemble to make sure it really popped. A pink bindi, slicked back bun, and complementing pink lipstick completed her beauty look.
