Vidya Balan made a striking statement in a stunning saree while discharging promotional duties for her latest film Sherni on July 15. Her pictures from the photoshoot ahead of the event were posted to Instagram by the celebrity stylist page Who Wore What When.

The 42-year-old actress enjoys wearing sarees and has been wearing really pretty ones to her promotional events for Sherni lately.

For the Thursday event, Vidya opted for a chanderi saree from the shelves of Chhapa. The ivory saree featured elephant prints all over as well as a thick maroon and indigo border. Handmade tassels were attached to the border as well. Vidya paired the saree with a beige blouse featuring striped prints. Overall, we absolutely loved her attire.
