Venetian Hour

I love wedding trends! It is so fun to be up on the new items and chic happenings in the events industry. Have you heard of this one?

The Venetian Hour (that even sounds trendy!) is a fancy dessert buffet that is rolled out towards the end of the wedding reception or event. It usually includes a fancy selection of decadent cakes, truffles, and high end pastries. The goal here would be excellence, decadence.

It is an Italian tradition and in that tradition this is where the gifts would be given to the couple. In thanks for the gift the guests would be given a wedding favor. The Venetian Hour was often the last hour of the event as the party was winding down.
