Unique Wedding invitation on Lok Sabha Elections 2024 goes viral

A unique wedding invitation card from Pune in the backdrop of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 has emerged on social media, triggering a chatter among users. This Unique Invitation card encouraged citizens to exercise their voting rights.

“As per the rights given by the Constitution, and to take one step forward in making our country prosper, we must send our voice to the Parliament and for this, each vote is important,” reads the invitation card in Marathi. According to the invitation, ‘democracy’ and ‘voters’ are getting married to each other. The wedding venue on the card was listed as ‘your polling station.’

For the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Bihar will have the longest voting schedules in seven phases. This will be followed by Maharashtra and Jammu & Kashmir in five phases; Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha in four phases; Assam and Chhattisgarh in three phases; and, Karnataka, Manipur, Rajasthan and Tripura in two phases. The remaining states and Union Territories will vote on a single day.
