Georgette sarees
This is a very popular fabric, but few of us know that this is used in the manufacturing of Banarasi sarees. These sarees got its name from the method used in making it. Cutwork is the technique that is used in the manufacturing of these sarees. The look attained after wrapping this kind of saree is very eye soothing. One of the most important things that make these kinds of sarees more attractive is the patterns made on it. The patterns made on the sarees are nothing, but the beautiful flowers like jasmine, marigold and many others. Apart from this, various other natural things are made using the cutwork technique. These sarees are again apt for every occasion, but best suited for occasions like small gatherings. Again, these sarees would look good if you wear some gold jewelry with it. Butidar banarasi sarees
Another one in the category of Banarasi sarees is the tissue sarees. These are one of the most popular among all the Banarasi sarees. For this saree, the golden zari is not used for creating the work pattern on the saree but is used in weaving the fabric instead. The most attractive part of these sarees is its pattern. It has the pattern of lotus floating in a pond and the water droplets sprinkled here and there. Like every other Banarasi saree these too have a very intricate work on its pallu and border. Along with the gold and the silver threads, silk threads are also used in the making of these sarees. These sarees got the name from the design that it has. Buti means small dots and these sarees contain small dots all over woven from these threads. This is the reason why this saree is called Butidar saree. However, the local artisans call this pattern the Ganga Jamuna pattern. There are other names also given to the patterns formed on the saree. Generally, these sarees are available in dark colors like red, dark pink, purple, etc. These too could be one of the best options for bridal wear.
