London is renowned for many different things, from its fantastic history and museums, to the food and drink scene and its breathtaking Royal Parks. Something else that you can access in London is wonderful, unique wedding venues, and we’re here to introduce just a few of them. From iconic museums through to gardens where you’re surrounded by greenery, you’re sure to provide something extremely special on your big day.

Natural History Museum

First up, we have the world famous Natural History Museum. Based in South Kensington, your guests can easily access Knightsbridge parking and head down to the stunning venue. With 12 different galleries available to choose for your ceremony and celebrations, many people opt for the most iconic, which is to get married in Hintze Hall under Hope the blue whale! The team is fantastic and will help your wedding day dreams to come to life, whether you want a more traditional look for your wedding or something more modern. If you and your partner love history, then there are few places better to get married.

Old Timber Store - Bermondsey

Next up we have something very different, which is the Old Timber Store in Bermondsey. This venue is one of the most unusual and perfect for super cool couples. It’s within the cobbles of Maltby Street Market and dates back over 200 years, but has now been transformed into an incredible wedding venue. This rustic venue embodies industrial architecture and character, if you’re not the kind of couple who want a traditional day. The ceremony room is dressed with the most breathtaking dried flowers and you can enjoy stunning street food with your guests, and you’ll truly forget that you’re in one of the world’s busiest cities as it’s so personal and intimate.

Searcys At The Gherkin

If you’re looking for a fancy venue with breathtaking views of the city, look no further than Searcys At The Gherkin! This iconic piece of modern architecture will add something unforgettable to your day, and you’d get married at the very top in a beautiful space that has uninterrupted views of the London Skyline. They can be highly customised to be everything you want for your day, and you can have up to 130 guests at a ceremony with an intimate dinner, or up to 260 guests for a cocktail reception. This isn’t one of the cheaper options, it certainly is one of the most impressive.

Kew Gardens

Last but not least, if you’re nature fans, then a wedding at Kew Gardens is extremely special. There are beautiful buildings within Kew Gardens for you to choose from, including stunning cottages, conservatories, orangeries and galleries, then you can enjoy the gardens too! The photos will be breathtaking, your guests can enjoy one of London’s most beautiful parks and you’ll be marking your love in a truly unforgettable way. Again, this won’t be one of the more affordable options, but if budget isn’t a huge concern, then this is definitely worth looking into.
