Hello and Happy 2013! so how was your Christmas and New Years Eve? did you over indulge like me then? I always think it's not really Christmas, unless you expand your waistline and stretch out those waistbands just a little...ok more like A LOT! lol but hey I say food and drink is there to be had, not to be looked at, that's what art is for right?!
OK, So I thought I start the new year off with a nice and easy post for ya, just gently ease you back into the routine of everyday life after the (over) merry-ness of the festive season. Today is all about "Thank You's" more specifically thank you's to your Bridesmaids! It's one of the many wedding traditions that I love the most, because it's the time that you - the Bride - gets to show how much you appreciated all the support, love and patience shown to you during the run up to the big day. I always think a 'Thank You' gift is vital, believe me when I say that your Bridesmaids will have learnt to have the patience of a saint, because let's face it ladies no matter how calm and laid back you might be in everyday life, every Bride always loses the plot slightly when organising their wedding; and it's not to say your completely at fault, for those certain moments that you display particularly un-hinged behaviour (You know what I'm talking about, don't act like you don't) -planing a wedding can be A LOT and could push even the most laid back of us all!
So today I thought I would provide ideas, inspirations and a couple of gift suggestions for those "Special Ladies" who did their best to practice restraint, tact and the counting of 10 during those oh-so-stressful- wedding moments.
Something Personal:
Why not get your Bridesmaids something personal, something to let them know that you appreciate each and everyone of them and their contribution to your big day.
Something Indulgent:
After all the running around and putting out those wedding emergency fires, your girls will need a bit of rest and relaxation and TLC, so why not give them a gift of indulgence and spoil them a little.
Something Quirky:
Feel like breaking the mould and want to give an unexpected gift, something fun and different? why not think 'out of the box' and present your Bridesmaids with this unique gifts:
I hope todays post proved useful and helped to give you The Perfect Thank You for your Bridesmaids. For more bridal wear and wedding day ideas and designs head over to my blog or pinterest page - there's all ways something for everyone ;-)
Stay blessed and we'll speak again soon.
xx
