The Grand Bahamas Island Experience at Grand Lucayan, Bahamas

The Radisson Our Lucaya Resort on Grand Bahama Island is becoming the Grand Lucayan, Bahamas.

According to a Press Release from the resort’s operators,  the name change will take effect from September 01, 2011 and will give the resorts guest “a better sense of what the resort delivers, a truly grand Bahamian experience,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager of Grand Lucayan, Bahamas.

As the new Grand Bahama Island resort intends to be more than just a name change but a new experience – a Grand Bahamian experience!

The Grand Lucayan, Bahamas Resort, on Grand Bahama Island is  located on what is described as more than a mile of pristine, powder-soft beach will offer “a vast array of world class facilities” and activities necessary to create a dream “Grand Bahamian” vacation inclusive of:

• Two of the finest golf courses in the Bahamas and the Caribbean – The Reef Golf Course, designed by renowned golf architects Robert Trent Jones Jr and the Dick Wilson designed Lucayan Country Club Course.
• The 35,000 square-foot, Las Vegas-style casino – Treasure Bay Casino,
• A choice of nine restaurants offering a delightful culinary experience of both Bahamian and international cuisine
