The Engagement Ring! Should It Be A Surprise or Not?!

Ironically I already have my engagement ring picked out! It's a beautiful rose gold stunner from Simon G. But the question is....do I let my future man know the exact ring I want, or should I let him surprise me. Don't get me wrong, surprises are great, they really are. But ideally women like to be surprised with the exact thing their little heart desires. Right, ladies?
