What to wear? The question almost all of us ask ourselves nearly every morning. On a broader spectrum, the fashion and jewelry industry
are asking, 'What to wear this holiday season?'. Forecasts are already
being predicted for the winter apparel of what's 'hot' for this cool
weather. Analysts have high expectations this for a elevated spending
rate despite the financial struggle in todays economy. This gives light
to the jewelry industry for a prediction of a profitable season. So this
brings us back to our original question - What to wear? Based on what
we have seen this growing fall term; the saying is turned around to
'more is less'. Still restricted on tighter budgets, many people have
been aiming for larger pieces at a lower cost. This means substituting
precious gems for more unique stones and focusing on sterling silver.
Some people say this may limit the playing field, but in other opinions
this gives way to more unique styles and opens doors to unknown jewelry
design. Color has been a large break through this holiday season;
leaning towards cool colors of blue and green with a splash of bold red
to complete the popular and classic black wardrobe. Another popular
trend that seems to be sweeping the nation is layered necklaces and
rings from pearl and chain to uncommon stone combinations - the more
layers, the better. Of course there's always the statement necklaces
that pull in timeless classics such as the solitaire or circle diamond
pendants. Classic staples such as pearls or diamond studs in a jewelry
wardrobe are always good picks for gift ideas! Another seasonal 'must
have' are the timeless chandelier designed earrings that are being
ressurected to the jewelry industry. Incorporating different metals and
stones adds flare and personalization to these vital pieces.
All in all, the question is now - What are YOU going to wear this holiday season? From what's in style, or creating your own personal look, anything is possible this holiday season!
