There are a couple of reasons couples may choose to swap celebrants.

In a recent example I had a lovely couple who were planning a Hunter Valley wedding. The groom was from overseas and when they found out his family were unable to attend the wedding, they decided to up and have a glamorous Hamilton Island wedding instead.
