Join us in digging up the funniest wedding videos of all time for a chance to win 1 of 2 Flip Video Cameras.
The Contest:
We need your help to round up the best wedding related videos from across the web. We don't care if they are from your wedding, or someone else's - we just want to share the love, laughs, dances, proposals and epic mishaps (or even scenes from a movie!) from all over the world. Because let's face it.....we all know that no matter how much you plan, there's always a little something unexpected on your wedding day!
This awesome wedding contest runs from July 15th to September 6, 2010.
How to Enter by Sharing a Video:
All of the videos must be posted on the SmartBride Facebook wall, so everyone can enjoy them! Here's the lowdown:
- Go to SmartBride Boutique's facebook page and check out the videos that have already been posted. (We'll delete duplicates if things get crazy - only the first person to post a video will receive an official contest entry).
- Find a video of your own to post to our facebook page. You can choose to:
- Embed any video you choose from Youtube, or other video sites (instructions below) or
- Upload your own video from your wedding or another wedding (provided you have permission)
Other Ways to Earn Entries:
Remember, there are two Flip Videos up for grabs here!
- One will be given out at random to anyone who posts a video on our facebook page.
- The second one will be drawn at random from everyone who participates on our page or in the contest by:
- commenting on a video already posted on our facebook page
- liking us on facebook
- spread the word on Twitter by tweeting "@smartbride wants to find the most hilarious wedding videos on the web. Dances or disasters, they're not picky. http://ht.ly/2bAbF"
- letting your friends know about the contest by updating your facebook status with "@SmartBride Boutique wants to find the funniest wedding video on the web. Share your fav for your chance to win a Flip HD Video Camcorder."
In order for your comment to appear on our facebook page, simply type @sm into the text writing box on your wall. You will see '@SmartBride Boutique' appear below the text writing box. Select and click on '@SmartBride Boutique' and then finish typing in your message.
In the end your wall post will look like this:
Note: You may have found thousands of great videos, but please limit your uploads to 3 videos per facebook account. If you find more, why not encourage a friend to enter?

Post a Youtube link:
- Once you've found the video on youtube, click "Share" just below the video player in the middle.
- Select/copy the URL below. (Do not click on the facebook icon!)
- On the SmartBride Boutique facebook page, click on the link icon.
- Write a comment or quick description of your video
- Paste the URL from Youtube
- Click Attach
- Click Share
Upload Your Own Video:
- On the SmartBride facebook page, click the video icon
- Select upload a video
- Click browse and find the video on your computer - then click ok
- Write a comment or quick description of your video
- Click Share
