A groom is looking for help after learning the Second Avenue Subway will be potentially shutting down his New York City wedding venue next year.

He wrote yesterday on TripAdvisor.com:

I'm getting married in NYC in the middle of May 2011 and had hoped to feed my 12 to 20 guests at Tony's Di Napoli on the Upper East Side. They say they are "likely" to be shut because of construction work on the new Second Avenue Subway line next May.

So... please help, do you guys have any recommendations for something similar preferably not in Times Square?

Homey food, doesn't have to be Italian, would be nice with private rooms or big tables.

Also around $40 a head max.
