Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort Closed By Hurricane Irene

Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort has been closed for one month as a result of Hurricane Irene.

The Sandals all inclusive resort located on Cable Beach, Nassau Bahamas announced that it will close it door to guest this coming Saturday to carry out repairs damages to the resort caused by Hurricane Irene.

While not disclosing the extent of the repairs, Sandals has indicated that its intent is to ensure that the is property structurally sound and the closure is a precautionary measure. With the overall concern being that their guest will be able to experience all the services and amenities  promised in the Sandals Resorts brand “Luxury Included.”

Sandals has given no indication of the estimated cost of the repair that will be undertaken or the revenue that will be lost as a direct result of the Sandals Royal Bahamian All inclusive property closure.

However, the good news is that the resort closure is taking place during the usually “slow tourist  period” in the Bahamas.
