Reese Witherspoon's William Goldberg Ashoka Diamond

Reese Witherspoon is now engaged to Hollywood agent Jim Toth...but not with any ordinary diamond engagement ring. 

Jim worked with Wililam Goldberg to design the stunning piece of diamond jewelry, a four carat flawless and rare Ashoka diamond.

The Ashoka diamond by William Goldberg is one of the most coveted stones in the world.  Its flawless cut is inspired by the famous 41.37-carat diamond, mined in the Golconda region of Southern India, and owned by Buddhist Emperor Ashoka Maruya.  The legendary stone was believed to have mystical powers, including ability to instill positive feelings, and has since achieved tremendous fame, passing through the hands of avid gemstone collectors. 

Antique diamond jewelry has been very popular in recent years.  Eve Goldberg, co-owner of the William Goldberg Diamond Corporation, described Reese's diamond engagement ring as a “very elegant cut and has an old feel to it.”
