{Real Colorado Wedding} Marisa & Brian

I am so excited to share these beautiful pictures of a wonderful couple we had the pleasure of working with July 9, 2011. It was truly our honor to work with Marisa and Brian and be able to share in their special day. Their ceremony took place at the Denver Botanic Gardens in the “Romantic Gardens“. It began as a beautifully sunny day which is typical for beautiful Colorado and just as quickly it turned into rain with periods of sunshine at just the right moments, once again typical. As the saying goes in Colorado “if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes”.

Marisa and Brian were lucky enough to get ready in the Waring House on the grounds of the Denver Botanic Garden which is a location not available to the public. It also lent itself to some unique and breathtaking shots.


Marisa’s hand tied bouquet consisted of blue hydrangea, blue cornflower, purple anemone, white sweet peas, green dendrobium orchids, scabiosa pods with accents of purple fern shoots and a collar of dusty miller. The bridesmaids carried white garden roses, blue hydrangea, green dianthus and dusty miller.

The wedding reception was held at the Hotel Monaco Downtown Denver. If you have never had the opportunity to visit this historic, boutique hotel, I highly recommend it. Not only is the hotel beautiful but it was rated one of the ”500 Worlds Best Hotel”s in 2009 by Travel and Leisure Magazine and the staff is just as A-MA-ZING!

It was an incredible day spent with an incredible couple! Congratulations again to Marisa and Brian! Many happy wishes to you both!
