So it was rainy…very rainy at times, but that didn’t shop these two from having a lot of fun on a perfectly romantic, drizzly day!  Matt and Heather bravely ventured out into the great {and often damp} Pacific Northwest landscape to capture these playful engagements shots.

Who  needs serene skies when umbrellas make such great {and functional} props!

Matt and Heather headed out to a secluded park on one of the West Coast’s famous San Juan Islands to capture a few of these memories. The spot was not picked at random. The bench they used for many of their pictures was the exact bench these two were sitting on when they decided to tie the knot!

Earlier this year, Matt took Heather out for an afternoon on his boat.  They pulled up to a remote dot of land called Eliza Island. It was there, on that little bench above the Pacific, he proposed to her. How romantic is that?!
