Purple is hot and weddings average $26,984

Weddings, excluding the honeymoon, are averaging $26,984. Twenty-four percent of couples have destination weddings. Purple is the “it” color, with one out of five brides picking it for her wedding. Those are some of the findings in the newly released annual Real Weddings Survey from the Knot, parent company to TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com.
